The Redeemed Christian Bible College (R.C.B.C.) is an inter-denominational Theological institution established by the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The establishment of the Redeemed Christian Bible College, Ilupeju campus was a fulfillment of a vision to reach out to the people that are desirous of quality theological training within the city.
The pioneering work of Pastor Tony Ojo-Ibukun (former Pastor) towards the realization of this vision was rewarded with the commencement of training in September 1998 at 5, Obalodu Street, Ilupeju Estate. Pastor Ojo-Ibukun was the Area/Parish Pastor of R.C.C.G Living Hope Chapel situated at 5, Obalodu Street, Ilupeju Estate. He is the pioneer coordinator of R.C.B.C Ilupeju campus. He was dutifully assisted by his wife, A. P Towun Ojo-Ibukun and Deaconess Bisi Soniran
Presently, the R.C.B.C Ilupeju campus is situated at No. 5, Adefowope Street, R.C.C.G Love assembly Parish (formerly R.C.C.G Living Hope Chapel), Ilupeju. In 1998, about 25 individuals started off training as the first set of students with course offerings leading to the award of post graduate diploma (PGD) and ordinary diploma (ND) in Theology. However, year 2001 witnessed an additional course offering leading to the award of certificate in Theology based on approval issued from the main campus. It is worthy to note here that the two diploma programs and certificate programs are still being offered till date
